Even if, when running a marathon, you’re not a contender and you think all you really want to do is finish, every now and then you’ll want to take a look around to see how you’re doing in relation to everybody else.
Not that it really matters and call me weird, but I like the idea of finishing the race alongside the folks I more or less started out with. Which means, getting ahead or at the very least, keeping pace, is the objective. Falling behind? Step it up!

After having had my fair share of run-ins with plagiarizers through the years, I was going to write a little something about copyrights and the usual crud you hear from content thieves in this day and age of electronic distribution and really easy copying-and-pasting. But why bother when Brad Templeton did a very good job already.
