Chances are every person in your authority list will have websites chock full of useful info. And there’s also a good chance that some of them aren’t capitalizing on their authority status by selling what they know as infoproducts to their site visitors, for whatever reason (no time, a lack of know-how, no interest, etc.). You help change that.

Propose to “repackage” their existing website content into an ebook (I wouldn’t use the word “convert” since that doesn’t sound quite as complicated, involved and value-added), which you’ll then market and sell through your site, giving them a percentage — a royalty really — of sales.
The clincher, I think, in your pitch is that it’ll cost them absolutely nothing beyond granting publishing rights over to you.
Win-win for everyone. Choose your authority well, much of your sales will probably be from traffic that comes over from the authority site. I doubt you’ll even need to remove the content from the authority site to make this idea work.
