After you have found your niche idea, you can do a test to see whether your niche idea can be profitable. 2. Create Ads and Landing Page
Create your ads for an AdWords campaign using your the keyword phrases you have generated. Create a landing page with presell content containing your targeted keyword phrases. Set up your AdWords campaign. Direct your visitors to an affiliate program offering products or services related to your niche idea or have an opt-in form to collect their email addresses. You will be able to see the real search volume, number of people who have responded to your offer and the number of competitors in your niche market.
3. Do an Evaluation
You can judge your competition level by looking at the bid price and your ad position for your targeted keywords. If you cannot get on the first page with reasonable bids, you may have a very competitive niche idea. Study your competitiors’ websites. If most of them have poor quality websites and content, think what you can do to outperform them. If your competition is too strong, you may want to consider dropping the idea.
With this simple test, you can measure the real live traffic in market place. You will then be able to make a decision as to whether you want to proceed with your niche idea. AdWords is a very useful tool to test your niche idea.
