2 Free Online Todo List Managers

Posted on 19 October 2008 by Wordpreneur

For many of my publishing and writing projects, I’ve really needed nothing more than todo lists to manage them. In this day and age of fast connection speeds and WiFi, it now makes sense to move these lists online, accessible from anywhere and everywhere with a Web connection. At any time.

Even if you’re working with other people, why futz around with complex groupware solutions or services when you don’t have to? Really, folks, simplify when you can, and if a todo list will do the trick…

Here are two free online services that I recommend above all others. Once you figure out each’s “way of doing things” (and it really doesn’t take very much figuring), you’ll be zooming right along. Both are pretty gosh-darned slick and smart enough for what I do, and I suspect many of you will conclude the same for yours.

I’ve tried them both, and of the two, I’ve decided to use Todoist โ€” more features I can use, specifically where dates and calendars are concerned. But for projects where I need to collaborate with other people, I’d very likely go with Ta-da List.

Check them both out and see which one suits you and your work better. Gratis.

I use my cell phone’s organizer function, which does have rudimentary to-do. My Nokia 6108 even lets me set an alarm when the deadline is looming. I don’t even need a GSM signal.
