No Freelancing? What the…?

Posted on 15 May 2008 by Wordpreneur

I periodically take stock of what we’ve got here on Wordpreneur, and I just realized something: We don’t have a Freelancing category. Huh? Strange. There’s obviously no shortage of that kind of content here. Don’t ask me what I was thinking.

Easily remedied with WordPress — I just add a new category, like I just did for this post. Once it exists, I can even easily change the category name at will, and all posts already assigned to it will reflect the change. The dilemma is assigning previous content to this new category. I’ve got to do it manually, going through all past posts individually, categorizing as needed. (TRANSLATION: It’ll never happen.)

No biggie. All related posts from here on in (like my upcoming notes and tips on being a freelance Web writer) will now all be categorized accordingly.

To find previous posts, one way to find all freelance writing-related content is by using the “Find entries” search field on the right column (just a bit below the Feedblitz free subscription field). Just enter the keyword freelance (better yet, search for freelanc, without the “e”).

Like this post? Maybe you'd like to buy me a cuppa joe! It'll help keep me awake to write more, of course. Thanks!
