The 25 Most Valuable Blogs
Check out this report by 24/7 Wall St. (a financial news and information blog for investors). They put an actual dollar $$$ figure to what a blog is worth, which is tough considering that these babies are all privately-held.
But they calc’d it up, and here’s 24/7’s list.
24/7 didn’t include some large blogs you may be familiar that are under the umbrella of a large media company. Nor did they include some biggies that “bring in very little commercial revenue.”
This isn’t just a simple bulleted list — 24/7 provides some good analysis and info about each blog, including revenue and visitor counts and more. The revenue figures are likely guesses (these are private ops, remember), and heck if I know whether 24/7’s guesses are on the money or not, but what’s a few million here or there?
Yes, millions. That’s the ballpark for most on the list. And no, Wordpreneur isn’t on it. A must-read.

What else are they going to use for these private boys?
For lack of anything better or more accurate, Alexa is all we’ve got.
Reminds me to check on Alexa again. I haven’t been able to use it automatically ever since I went Vista.
