Top Five Secrets to a Successful Magazine Cover

Popular Science 1950Let’s step back into the traditional print media world for a few minutes (a ‘warm fuzzies’ kind of place for us been-there-done-that’s, I have to admit), courtesty of Mediabistro, and while we’re there, let’s see if we can learn what successful (aka $ucce$$ful) mag covers are made of.

Reading through it, frankly I have no idea why these are the top five, but the observations are good to know anyway. I’ll keep these in mind next time I need to pump out a book/ebook cover myself.
