OK, that makes four, or about a month of these Carnival issues, and traffic numbers (interest) seem high enough, even for these usually sickly low Saturdays. So, let’s keep going then, shall we?
(Of course, it never hurts to tell everyone you know about these killer Carnivals! Just click on that green “Share This” link below and show your peers how much you really love them!)

In What’s in a Name?, copywriter Beth Ziesenis (Life on Avenue Z) shares a few of her sources of inspiration for coming up with names for her clients’ products, projects, etc. Good short list. I have to admit, though, that some of the best names I’ve come up with (dot coms, projects, book titles, company names, etc.) usually hit me when I’ve stopped thinking about them after brainstorming sessions. Funny.
The title of Robinson Go’s Optimize Your AdSense Income by Spreading Content to Multiple Pages seems longer than the actual post! But the post’s long enough for him to make sense and for us to learn something. Just try not to overdo the technique.
Here’s one thing I do know: If you want oodles of AdSense income, you’ll need oodles of traffic. And getting on the Digg front page is one of the quickest ways to get a massive spike of that. The very nicely detailed tips and tricks in How to Get on Digg’s Front Page by Greg Davies (The-TrukstoP.com) is worth way more than just a cursory glance.
Although not specific to our lot, you man-I-wish-I-had-the-time-to-write-my-novel campers will want to check out Tara Weiss’ How to Take a Year Off Without Ruining Your Career on Forbes for some tips and inspiration.
But, back to reality. There’s nothing more real to writers than the fact that we face each and every day for the most part alone. But do we have to? Especially if what we’re facing regularly is a writing business? Again, not specific to writing, but Neil Patel’s brief Have a Business Partner? If Not, Go and Get one in ShoeMoney is a must-read-and-ponder.
But to heck with reality and back to novels again… do you know that it’s the National Novel Writing Month? 50K words in a month? That’s only a bit over 200 words an hour… very doable! Yeah, we’re a few days late off of the starting block… but so what? Join in the fun!
That does it for another issue of the Wordpreneur Carnival. See you all next week!
