Buy Me a Beer Plugin

Picking up where we left off in Blog “Income” From Donations can be Substantial, here’s a dirt-easy (and free) solution for you WordPress users: Go get the Buy Me a Beer PayPal Donation plugin like I did.

In a nutshell, it lets your WordPress blog’s visitors send you monetary donations via PayPal. The plugin automates the whole process enough to make it as much a no-brainer as possible.

It has a lot of intelligent features, such as being able to choose a “buy me a coffee” route, custom titles and descriptions, and the option to enable adding a link and icon to the bottom of every post on top of (or instead of) its Widget placed on your margin. These options actually make the setup process a tad bit more involved than simple drag-and-drop-and-ready-to-go, but really, not all that much more.

Check it out in action at the bottom of this post, and at the top of the middle/right margin.
