The Writing “Community”
We’re wired and hooked up.
That, imo, is one of the neatest things about being a writer today, something we most certainly did not have way way back pre-Internet… or even early-Internet for that matter.
Oh, yeah, a few of us had developed online writers’ communities of sorts pre-public Internet through Bulletin Board Systems (BBSs) you dialed up to directly. A number of those had even managed to devise national or even international logical networks of independent BBSs all exchanging messages through daily scheduled mail packet runs.
That’s how we all linked up back then, boys and girls. State of the art fun…
…and absolutely nothing compared to what we’ve got today! Websites, blogs, forums, IM, boards… it just blows the mind. And this is all practically in “real time,” especially when you compare it to our pony express mail packet runs in the late-80s and early 90s.
No doubt about it… Wordpreneur.com is nothing more than a speck in that huge writer’s community.
So here’s our assignment: Share your favorite “online writer’s resources” with the rest of us (just comment below). Blog. Website. Forum. Whatever. Just let us know about it below, please. That’s it, and thanks!

I frequently visit http://www.chrisblogging.com and http://www.paidopps.blogspot.com. Chrisblogging is great for freelance writers and bloggers, while Paid Opportunities is great for those who just want to make money online.
