Thinking of biting the bullet and quitting your day job to make a go of writing for a living full-time?

Don’t burn those bridges! Especially if you’re going to be providing writing/editing/etc. services in your new venture. Your soon-to-be ex-employer may very well end up being your first client!

Regardless, play it smart. My local paper (Washington Post) ran a special Jobs: I Quit section with articles and tips on essentially how to do the quitting thing right. Check it out.
