CoverAction Pro

Written on September 20, 2007 – 9:48 am | by Wordpreneur |

Thoroughly unimpressed with the blood, sweat and tears I expended writing GolfIncome: eBay, when presented with the ebook, my writing and publishing pals usually ask, “Who did the cover?”

CoverAction ProWell, I did (which is why the question isn’t such a big blow to the old ego)… with a lot of help, however, from Adobe Photoshop and software called CoverAction Pro.

You have to be minimally Photoshop proficient to work this add-on, or at least supremely confident in your ability to follow CoverAction Pro’s step-by-step instructions, but the results, as you can see, are fantastic!

There are alternatives (if you use and recommend something else, let me know). Not to mention that a small cottage industry of ebook cover design services has popped up — from the looks of it, CoverAction Pro is the sofware this lot uses. In fact, I’m no longer in the graphic design biz, but I can be persuaded into pumping out a design or two for clients. :-)
